Sleeping out at home provides a great way to give back while practicing social distancing. Here are a few things you can try this year at your sleepout.

 

1. Pick your location. Where would you like to sleep for the night: in a tent, in a fort in your living room, on a trampoline…

 

2. Pick a night. There will be new activities each day of the event (Fri. Sept. 4 through Sun. Sept. 13) so find a night that works best for your schedule. Don’t forget if you want to sleepout multiple nights you are more than welcome to!

 

3. Gather supplies. Regardless of the location, supplies are key. Make sure you have blankets and pillows so you are comfy. Grab a

flashlight for when it gets dark. Don’t forget the snacks. We recommend s’mores!

4. Bring the fun. Sleeping out can be a great time! Get some glow sticks for a glow party. Collect board games for the ultimate game night. Prepare a special snack. Make it an event!
