DMARC Food Drive

DMARC operates nine area food pantries to help meet the short-term needs of hungry people in the Des Moines area. DMARC works to help persons to be free from hunger by providing help for short-term emergencies and offering information and referral to other available agencies.  For more information on DMARC go to http://www.dmreligious.org/

At Reggie's Sleepout on October 24th, there will be red barrels distributed at Drake Stadium to collect nonperishable canned food items starting at 3 p.m.  We encourage the community to bring canned food items to donate as part of your participation in the fourth annual Reggie's Sleepout. November 15-21 is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week.
